It’s unfortunately quite common that patients come to us with the incorrect diagnosis, an incomplete diagnosis that other clinicians have missed, incorrect medication treatments. We use evidence-based psychiatric medicine with online and tablet-based in office rating scales to help pin down your issues.Conditions we treat
Major depression, treatment-resistant depression, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, bipolar I and II disorder, social anxiety disorder, ADHD/ADD, Alzheimers disease, schizophrenia, and adjustment disorders. We also partner with local laboratories such as LabCorp (4 blocks down east on Sutherland Avenue) and University Diagnostics (MRI’s and CT scans) to monitor mood stabilizers, antipsychotics and lithium and required laboratory monitoring for insulin resistance, diabetes, and elevated cholesterol. We order MRI’s and/or CT scans when dementia or another brain disorder is suspected. Both companies offer patient portals to download your results. Click below:
